Accommodations are available on the island with six newly refurbished Bali Houses; Sir Richard Branson’s private home, Temple House; and the 105-foot luxury catamaran, Necker Belle, substituting for the bedrooms that were lost in the Great House.
A new state-of-the-art superyacht marina opened in the protected North Sound Bay of Virgin Gorda recently and is linked to the new Oil Nut Bay Luxury Resort Community and Beach Club, as well as to Biras Creek Resort.The official opening of YCCS Virgin Gorda took place March 16-20, 2011, in conjunction with the first Caribbean Superyacht Regatta & Rendezvous.
The Virgin Gorda Marina boasts 38 slips for yachts up to 100 meters length, superior amenities and services. Yacht owners and guests have access to all Biras Creek Resort facilities.
A beautiful clubhouse was unveiled on January 4, 2012, signifying the official debut of the new yacht club and marina.

Falmouth, Antigua December 06, 2011: “The brand new 81m (265.7 feet) Feadship AIR arrived at the Falmouth Harbour Marina on Sunday morning for the 50th Anniversary of the Antigua Charter Yacht Show – she will be based here in Antigua for most of the season. Air is the largest yacht participating in the Show.

Decorated with exquisite designer fabrics, custom-made beddings, finely crafted oak cabinetry, lovely artwork and a beautifully lit interior, Freedom offers a warm and inviting ambience. She offers formal dining for 8, and a large main salon with satellite TV and an amazing stereo system. For entertaining and enjoying the glorious Caribbean views nothing beats the expansive top deck complete with bar, Jacuzzi tub, large padded sun deck, dinning for 8 and even an exercise area with a Bowflex.
Guest staterooms include an impressive, full-width master stateroom with a king-size bed and ensuite his and her bathrooms. Separating the two sides is a large glassed-in marble shower. Easily drawn curtains offer even more privacy. There are plenty of cabinets, drawers and closet space for all your personal belongings plus a full-size desk area. Forward along the extra wide passage way are three more staterooms. Two offer queen-size beds with plenty of walk around space and their own ensuite bathrooms and shower. One stateroom is perfect for kids with twin beds and a Pullman for a younger child. It also has its own bathroom and shower. She can accommodate up to 9 guests if one guest is a young child of less than 80lbs for the Pullman berth. All staterooms have flat screen TV, Sat TV, iPod docks and individual A/C controls.
Freedom’s toy list is sure to impress an includes a 37’ Intrepid tender with 900hp for diving and fishing excursions from the mother ship, an 18’ RIB to pull those water skis, kneeboard, wakeboard or tube. They have 2 stand-up paddleboards, a kite board rig plus they offer 4-5 dives per week included in their standard rates. They have two dive instructors aboard plus onboard compressor, dive scooters and lights for night diving.
It is ideal for the water sports lover.
MATELOT: After a successful charter season in the Mediterranean, MATELOT is off to the yard in France where her mast will come out and all her standard rigging will be replaced as well as a revamp for the air conditioning system and other preventative maintenance jobs will be performed.
